why is it when the vampire diaries cast travels to france the words ‘harassment’ and ‘fans’ always seem to come together in the same sentence?

I hardly ever write about the ships and things like this. But I’ve been seeing some stuff recently about how Damon/Elena shippers are ‘buying into’ the last flashback scene where Damon met Elena first, and how Damon wasn’t himself like he was in Season One. Like it was just thrown in. Like it was contrived.
Maybe at first glance it does seem that way. But when you look into it, it isn’t.
